As I pointed out if you read my post. Did you read the bit about the investigation into the council loan no you didn't I presume that's nothing to do with Manni it's the loan the club got.
In addition if you all think the NCA once the order is placed call it a draw because it was issued think again every transaction will be scrutinized that takes quite a while. If you think it's concluded go for it.
But it is concluded the case is closed. For reasons best known to yourself you’re trying to resurrect a dead story.
Also you and the article are well off the mark regarding the loan. Even if it were dodgy it wouldn’t be prosecuted by the NCA in this case. It would be a job for the local government ombudsman or whatever it’s called these days if your talking the mis-use of council funds.
The loan would only be of interest to the NCA if it had been used for criminal purposes ie money laundering. As the money was lent directly to the club and the sale was registered that is hugely unlikely.
The only issue regarding the council loan is the price we paid which was over market value. However as the loan is very much NOT interest free then there is no issue as regards the council The council are allowed to use council money by way of loans to local organisations if A. It has some value to the local community and B if they are getting a return ie interest which they are and by the way is a much higher return than if the council shoved it in a savings account.
Sorry but there is no issue other than WT had to pay over the odds to get the ground back but that was a commercial decision and one that in the long term will be worth it.
None story for me.
