Shane Tronc left early because his family couldn’t settle - how’s this any different? Certain elements of the Aussie press are clearly being discriminatory towards English players.
It’s far more tragic that you you can make a point with out typing an essay
The reason you should care is you’ve made a statement on here which is wrong, Considering you spend most of your time on here calling people out for making statements that can’t be backed up I’m almost stunned you show your face
Just to double confirm though
Andrew Fafita hasn’t signed for us and you have zero credibility on here
That bit made me laugh.
I don't care, it's a RL forum not the Houses of Parliament. Get a grip.

That's Australians for you. Forty years of total dominance in the sport yet scratch away the veneer and the colonial insecurities are instantly on show.
Vast majority stay over here and have a positive effect on our comp ,and enjoy and embrace the lifestyle , some a little too much may I add .A few can’t settle ,but they don’t go bleating it all over social media .He was quick enough to grab the wonga on offer when offered, and off he tootled . Did he think they we’re paying him all that money and a near celebrity lifestyle to not play footie and then spit his dummy out when they curtailed his contract . Not seen my son and family for nearly 2 years due to COVID n other things ,but am I bleating all over the place ,NO . He was handsomely paid to do a job ,and fulfill his contractual obligations , he hasn’t ,so he’s gone , simply as that .
Again, he said himself he was willing to train and play until the end of the season, but no Canberra wanted to make him out as the bad guy. They were the ones who gave him that contract.
I can’t believe I’m sticking up for an ex Wigan player here.

Well that’s up to you. People can react differently you know. Use this place as an example.

I for one don’t think that overseas players are now having a positive impact on our game. We have neglected our own game and players to a point where we can’t compete at international level and we are very rarely producing and top world class players. I’d like to see all clubs limited to three overseas players with no exceptions, also all teams should be made to field at least 3 homegrown academy players and maybe introduce an extra substitute and say the mom from the academy the previous week be given a spot.

I think part of the problem with overseas players now, is that we have a quantity over quality issue, with sides having more overseas players than they did at a time of when super league was just starting up.
I do think that when the RFL are looking at things like salary cap increases to make our own league more attractive, in retaining our own players, then they should be looking at reducing the quota at the same time as increasing the cap.
Also, if we had a better overall standard of overseas player, then this may bring out improved quality of our own players, as playing with better players around you can improve you as a player

It was pretty bad in the mid 2000's, just have a look at our line up for the 2006 million pound game. We only had Rooney and March from the UK in that side, I suppose Henderson counts but he grew up in Oz.
