As good a performance as I’ve seen Wakefield play, attack and defence was on point. 1-17 played were awesome. Was great to see the players smiling and playing with confidence. Nice to see Sezer escape out of Lino’s pocket and walk off sulking without applauding the giants fans

I'd say the same about Pitts. He handled Kenny-Edwards really well.

Wow...how good was that first half...we just blew them away in every department...it reminded me of the 62-0 Wigan game a few years ago. Even when Miller was in the bin we still looked comfortable in defence
Where was Gaskell cos Shudds looked totally lost without him ???

So who's in charge of the Trinity defense line these days, it's improved significantly of late.

Think it shows bringing the 2 new coaches in was cash well spent .We are now looking good in attack and defence.Just hope if Mr Chester stays next season ,we bring in a good replacement for Last .

I think that first half performance would have blown away most SL clubs - it was just about faultless and the flowing rugby was a treat to watch.
Think we have a wing problem when Tom comes back because Liam Kaye sure knows where the try line is!
The defence has been awesome in the last two games - no more of wingers stranded in no mans land, very well organised and the two tries flattered Hudds

Well my learned friends that has blown the whole C grade up against A grade players out of the water as well as big buck signing against our bargain basement boys . Not one giant player out performed their opposite number today and apart from the late tries had the dye in every department. Pride and passion and a big dose of confidence is all you require to put a performance in like that. All that bunkum about we aren’t performing cos of this and that ,money , skills not good enough .Well there you have it these boys can play attractive rugby ,they just had to believe in themselves. That’s the trinity I have supported all these years ,a team that doesn’t conform to the usual rules and has no respect for supposed better quality teams ,they just go out and give their all ,I knew they had it in them and today they’ve proved me right .

Best game since we beat Leeds away in 2019, faultless.

Ashurst back on form

Fifita best game for a bit

Tupou same

Miller back

Arona heart and soul

With these stalwarts back and firing and the likes of Pitt’s, Battye and Kaye finding their feet it’s been coming for a while.

No injuries, a few good calls and some luck combined with the above and bingo.

This is what makes sport fun, you just can’t script it, so much of it is luck and circumstances, I’m so delighted it’s finally changed especially for CC who had few friends left a month ago, bygones be bygones is probably best.

I get your point but I disagree. We are a quality team always were we just needed a break and thus a chance to prove it.

Yes they are a quality team. I admit I went through a phase where I thought 'Are these players really is as good as we think they are?'
well, to answer my own question, 'Yes they are!'
Like has been said by CC , these displays have been coming. They are no fluke! Those tries today were top drawer and the defence top drawer as well.
Keep it up Trin!
