EVENTUALLY, WE'LL WIN SOMETHING, ,MAYBE, IF I'M STILL ALIVE THEN

Crowds back : Wed May 19, 2021 5:00 pm
Just to say that it was great to see crowds back on the TV on Monday. Made a world of difference.

Since the pandemic, I have been watching the NRL more. Firstly, because it was the only thing that was on. Secondly, they got the crowds back earlier.

Now the crowds are back, even on a limited basis, it makes a huge difference to the enjoyment of the game. I really enjoyed the Wire and Giants game, and a large part, or even the whole part, was the presence of the crowd.

Can’t beat a good crowd cheering your team on and baying for blood at the opposition all at the same time , certainly will be strange on Sunday . What I’ve always loved about the sport is the banter from home fans as well as opposing fans ,it’s what set our game apart . Can vaguely remember as a youngster going to the boulevard and it getting a bit tasty but those days were few and far between and long may it continue . Football can only dream about supporters from both clubs been stood together and having a good crack ,amazing .

I think it was restricted to 4,000, but it still made a difference.

Hudds took their usual amount .....

Think you should remember that your club have tickets on sale to the public for the 1st game back - Hudds or no one else for that matter need to do that as they are all taken by season ticket holders before you take the mick

That's a fair point, but in Huddersfield's case Davey subsidises the cost so much they'd have to sell 150% more tickets than us to make the same money.
So not as cool as it sounds.
