Academy win : Sun May 16, 2021 5:37 am  
I watched the gamecocks Hull FC & thought that the Wakey forward pack absolutely dominated in the forwards.
Very impressed with 13 Pat O’Donovan and the winger number 5 Murphy looked a threat every time he had the ball. He looks a special talent, keep an eye out for him.

Anyone want to see some great attacking play and cheering up, I suggest you watch the above video. Some great tries, and also shows the short-sightedness of restricting clubs ability to run their own academies.

Is Sam Eseh number 8. If so I'd be tempted to drop him in for a few games, he seems to have the size.

I also thought the number 5 looked very good. Could be the next TJ and certainly knows how to score a try. Sam Eseh I like the look of, could be a good one.

Great result! To be fair I think recent years our academy seems to be pretty successful. Producing a number of players for Wakefield and championship clubs. There’s loads of ex wakey academy lads plying there trade in championship and league one.

It would be a travesty if we didn’t get a licence.

Some real talent on that team.. I like Bowes, Odonavan, Windrow and Eseh but the one who looks most likely to get a shot sooner is Murphy, genuine pace, balance but above all confidence.

The 13 (was that O’donnavan?) looked handy. I don’t know who the big second row lad was at 12 but he looked to make plenty of metres too. Certainly some talent in there.

On that showing Id be looking at signing up that young wingman Murphy. The energy he had when scoring his try’s and looked to have good feet.
