I think the point is, they have every right to the opinion, but if they bring their negative opinion to the game, they will affect the team.
So I'd rephrase it to say let's all get behind the whole team for that day and see what happens.
Then voice your opinion back on here afterwards.
Don't abuse the players or staff at the game.

Agreed. If you're right in your assumption, which it would appear from teltry's afterthought that you may be. :)

I believe anyone who attends go in hope of victory, which is a trait all Wakefield supporters are born with because let’s face it you wouldn’t automatically select us to support after the 60’s. We are probably one of the most resilient set of supporters who are concerned that we are heading towards relegation despite the fact that we appear unable to change course. The strategy is that we hope to win more games than Leigh because all the other teams considered in our bracket have shown improvements on the field and have been victorious.

I have never booed the team or coach but are we all to sign a declaration before we are allowed to attend. I think that would have an impact on the numbers attending. Why should we accept not one but a string of poor performances. We are involved in the entertainment industry ( I know it is hard to believe) and let’s be honest the current experience on the field does not encourage paying £25 which is no small amount of money.

Then exercise your right not to go. No one is making you.

It must be strange for non season ticket holders and tempting not to attend/hand money over when the team are doing badly or if you have dug yourself into a hole of negativity. When you tip up the cash pre season it's like a donation or club membership. Then you get free Rugby League to watch for a year.

PopTart you are a disgrace on this forum. All you do is attempt to shut down any opinion that doesn't fit your own. End of the day nobody turns up to boo the team but if they aren't happy with what they see on the pitch then they'll vent on any outlet available. You act like Wakefield Trinity is your wife or girlfriend and nobody is allowed to have a go or you'll take it personal, well that's tough when there are so many platforms to opine on. I am of the opinion that the coach needs to go in my view he should have gone at the end of 2019 a view shared by many others. End of the day time is running out we've just lost to a mediocre at best Leeds team after once again failing to score a second half try, alarm bells are ringing, how many more games do we give your darling Chester before enough is enough? The team should be performing far better than it is ask yourself this would Duffy at Leigh rather have our squad than his? I believe so. I'll be down there on Sunday cheering the team on hopefully to a much needed victory but if its the same old story then no I won't be just blindly hoping for the next game like you. We are sleepwalking into oblivion and blind optimism won't change that.

I agree Coco, in our next 3 we play; Hull KR, Hudds and Leigh, if we are still without a win after that then there is no doubt in my mind Chester just has to go.

I'd forgotten that the Leigh game had been brought forward.
So, 3 games at home, with home fans only, in consecutive weeks, all Sunday 3pm kick-offs. This is it, make or break time for the season. Those are definitely supporting circumstances, if he can't win at least 2 of those then change must be made asap.
I think we have a team who has forgotten how to win and a coach who has run out of ideas to persuade them otherwise.
It may all look a lot different at 4.45 on Sunday.

Re: Chester out part 65 : Mon May 17, 2021 3:07 am
If the players and staff had shown the same passion and commitment for Trinity as the fans over these last years I’m positive we wouldn’t be in this predicament in the first place . We all get behind them and cheer them on that’s why we are still here ,rain or shine and the only booing I’ve heard is at the ref ,or a dirty player from the opposition.
I’ve Stood on the terraces holding my dads hand a long long time ago and now I stand with my son holding my grandsons hand .
I’ve seen lots of coaches/owners come and go in my time and the only loyalty I have is to Trinity itself ,so when people stupidly say we don’t want you if you challenge how we are performing,I say I’ve payed my dues I’ll have my say and last time I looked it was still a country of free speech . We all want Trinty to be a competitive side ,a side that goes on the field and gives their all for the badge on their shirt ,a team bursting with pride and passion , it’s not too much to ask for really now is it.
