Great news for us, but a daft decision overall. Wonder what genius came up with this.

We’ve got a license. Great news for us obviously but it doesn’t make the RFL’s ridiculous decision to do this in the first place right.

Fantastic news imho and a credit to the club. I think it should be mandatory for SL clubs and for championship clubs there should be regional academy set ups (pooled academies) so that there is some sort of player pathway.

That said the top comp should be mandatory acsdemy. Just look how many wakey ex academy lads are in the championship and league one. They’re scattered throughout numerous teams.

Congratulations to all at the club for getting this across the line. Fantastic news, I can't spake.

Absolutely fantastic news and well done to all involved. It’s great that the powers that be have recognised the work going on at Wakefield. A lot of stuff goes unnoticed due to the negativity generated by the media towards us and reflected by a lot of fans attitudes.

I hope it’s not going to be like when we got the super League franchise decision and it was down to Crusaders going bust not the case presented by the club!

That's massive for us and I reckon took a lot of hard work from the club.
Well done all involved.

A big plus - and a reward for a lot of hard work I’m sure.
