Genuinely don't get it, we have a core 3k or so, are we allowed 3k in the ground? From the figures you've suggested it means we've sold 1300 or so tickets for the first live home game in 15 months. I know the team is way out of form but I thought at the very least people would've been itching to get back for the first game.
One problem these days is communicating to those fans who don’t do social media, access these forums and club web sites. I know of a few people in this situation, and I’m sure there’s plenty more people as such. I don’t know how the. Club can get the information to everyone and some people will miss it.

I got told last night from a reliable source that Season Ticket sales are way down on last years (hardly surprising, I suppose), so given all of the current circumstances, realistically it is hardly surprising that we are evidently struggling to fill the ground !!

With all the uncertainty over if/when people could attend games, It's no wonder that S/T sales are down and with our current form, selling just short of 4000 tickets to home fans is quite a big ask. In normal times, there are only around 4000 home fans. I wonder how many KR fans will have found a way to get hold of tickets ?

Can you imagine if there's more KR fans than Wakey fans at the game?!!!
It is massively frustrating. Personally I have been desperate to get back into the ground to watch matches. I don't have a ST as I do struggle to get to all of the games but I was in the queue at the Ridings shop on Saturday morning at 8.45 ready for them to open so I could get a ticket and do my bit to support the team. So many folk moaning about the performances and the quality of the team but not willing to back the club with buying a ticket and helping us get some much needed funds. I understand that people are not happy but staying away is going to make things worse, not better. Replacing the coach only helps if we have a team left to support, and not going to games is going to put the future in jeopardy. Do your bit as a supporter and get behind whatever team we put out. Actually I think we're not far away from a win and the vocal support that we can give might just make the difference.
If you haven't got a ticket yet, but can do so, then do it. The club needs your support, the players need your support.
Bump into many an old wakey fan on my travels and get told the same old answer when I asked if they are still watching the game ,and that is that they gave up watching . You only have to look around on the terraces and you don’t see the regular faces anymore that stood in the same spot for years. I personally used to take a boat load in my mini bus to games home and away and now there is my son, grandson and me ,even the wife who has been going for over 20 years can find other things to do . They nearly all sight poor performances for their lack of interest and cost of watching . The only way to arrest this sad demise it to get a winning team on the park , people don’t want to watch a team of tryer’s losing all the time . Get the product right on the field and people will come back it’s not rocket science it’s that simple . I’ll keep going but lots won’t and aren’t as you can tell by the tickets left . Make any excuses you want about the ground ,social media ,for lack of footfall but get a team that can win more than they lose and people will come .
