It may be cynical but was there a plan to Bradford moving out - - nudge - nudge, this to let /allow the RFL to carry out full repairs/maintenance using central funds that all the clubs pay into the RFL ? Don't get me wrong about the Rugby league family etc, etc but would this /these occurrences happen for all from buying the stadium to paying for all maintenance & as they say ready for when they go back !!!

It’s also very coincidental that the year Toronto come up and all SL clubs get extra share of the money that a figure similar to this money is required to upgrade odsal.

It’s easy to be cynical and That’s the trouble when people are given only a Part of the story. All of rugby league fans who attend rugby league games, contribute to the RFL coffers, but as fans we have no say in how our contributions are spent. I disagree strongly with the RFL, spending £200.000, of the fans money on Odsal upkeep. It’s not long ago that Trinity’s central funding was reduced because of the poor state of BV. I never heard anything of the RFL or SL offering payment for BV upkeep. I just wish the chairmen/CEO of all clubs would replace those jokers at RFL headquarters.

Sorry to cut this one short so quickly but it is an emotive subject on the Bradford forum and it would be better all round if it stays there.
If you want to get in to the discussion I'm sure you'll find plenty to talk about on the Bradford site, but it has attracted some serious antipathy on a previously good and fun forum. Don't want to attract that here.
