Salary Cap Rule : Tue Sep 08, 2009 7:51 pm
Just seen this on Super League site:
http://www.superleague.co.uk/page.php?id=346 The section on salary cap rules: Half the wages of a player who has been at the club for 10 years don't count on salary cap!?!? So players like O'Loughlin at Wigan or Cunningham at Sts who have been signed since academy are pretty cheap. Won't help us as we are not spending up to cap anyway but shows how Wigan and Sts do it. They are keeping their juniors a long time and reaping the rewards. Guess Fergy has a way to go yet!?!??! |
