Exciting times lay ahead it seems, giving young Morton's try scoring debut last week and due to the ongoing recession in this country, investing in young, fearless and talented players is the only way to go. Lets hope these budding stars live up to their expectations and that they prove to be a nucleus for our side over the coming years.
wigan nope, more like he dint wanna go full time for 6000 a yr, wud you? cant see him moving with a 20k price tag slapped on his head
Is that how much we're asking if people want to come in and take him away? Would that then imply that he still has plenty of time left on his amateur contract?

ermmm i dunno my nephew works 60 hrs a week as an apprentice mechanic and struggles to get that although he is looking at the bigger picture .
trouble is some clubs will come in and offer the world to these guys then drop them like hot potatoes when the next 4th rate Aussie is available . this is a chance for the guys to do it on the big stage .
just hope we take it slow with them and nurture them well
Surprised not to see Colleran, Annekin and Harrington on there..
i agree annekin is a power house, he's an excellent ball carrier and backs that up with strong defence. colleran is 1 of the safest fullbacks i have seen, his work rate is unbelievable never 1 to shy away from the ball. harrington is versatile he can play just about anywhere and hes got an explosive side step, speed, strenght, size, hes got the hole package very suprised not to see his name there
Oh right I think I remember now TRY is Squadbuilder so as a member of squadbuilder I am a member of TRY?
TRY - Trinity's Rising Youth is technically the scheme to develop our youngsters - invented by JK himself (including the TRY name) and supported, in part, by Squadbuilder.
It is more important than ever that we TRY and get folk to support this, as this is the first crop of many to come.

I already contribute to squadbuilder so is that the same as TRY? I think it is but I'm not quite getting it!

I like Anekin as a player but think he needs time to develop further physically, he is a robust lad who can cause the academy standard players trouble but i think he needs to grow a few inches to be a secondrow. If he remains the same size and build he currently is I would think he may get a run at hooker to see how he goes, very much in the Andy Speak mould type player.

At this stage I'd liken him to Tommy Haughey who was an absolute revelation at academy level, used to run similar angles and bust through tackle after tackle. Don't think he got physically bigger and stronger though and just failed to make the top grade.
That's the problem with a lot of these lads, they need to carry on developing and make that huge step up, if three or four of this lot can make the step then that will be great news for the club...
