That's how it's interpreted at the moment but a tackle like that could be seen as due to poor technique rather than foul play so could be seen as a technical offence which could be sin-bin-able. Would have seemed fair.

Yeah I meant sin bin at the very least. Getting put on report was a joke.

If the ref hasn't seen it, and the touch judge isn't forthcoming, all he can do is put him on report.

As others have said, Westwood missing out against us may be to Wire's advantage.

Let's hope we overcome Salford first.

Yeah if the ref did not see it then he can do nowt, but it is about time the linesmen start getting involved.

The refs get some stick but the linesmen are just as bad. It seems all they do is get a better view of match than rest of us

Thought ref did ok defo sin binnings them 2 tackles though. Other calls pretty good. Our refs nearly send everygame into a riot !

As stated earlier in the thread, you can't sin bin for that. and IMO the first one was RED and the second should go on report.

Definite red card for me, similar to the shot that got Mathers sent off last year, as BW`s feet were off the ground. I think Riley might have a case to answer for his part in the brawl, and Bridge could well be cited for running in and striking during the melee, can only hope so!
