So what's with the MASSIVE over reaction on here to someone confirming things he was asked to confirm?
There is no objection there, he is merely stating things that has been out in public for over a year now. Some of the comments on here are totally OTT and utterly ridiculous...I wonder if this website will be hearing from the clubs legal team for some of the comments made
The thing is not whether you believe what you're writing or if you think RW is right or not in what he's done, the real crux of the matter is how is this perceived by the wider rugby community.
The perception whether you belive it or not is RW is trying to stop Wakefields stadium and is throwing his weight behind a no bid, defend his position all you want but it doesn't stop the rugby community uniting together to think RW is underhand and no friend of rugby league.
He could have kept quiet or took a back seat but actually chose to root himself right in the middle of the issue, he's fully aware of the power he wealds and so are the campaigners otherwise they wouldn't have approached him, are you really so one-eyed and naive to think he isn't trying to go against Wakefield.
Wakefield want their own stadium, they don't want to share with Castleford is that too hard to understand, i'm sure Wakefields board have possibly the same concerns as RW but have to chose to rise above it and show a bit of class.
I'm surprised you haven't added
Well done Richard
It's about the only thing you can get out the Cas board when you dare go against the grain, i used to like Cas, always had a soft spot for them, but this leaves a bad taste in the mouth.
