Agreed. But if we don't win it, we are losing valuable points where others are looking to increase theirs.

If we just rely on the stadium we could come unstuck.

Think Mills spoke about getting players etc lined up for 2025, which is pretty exciting. The fact that Ellis mentioned about marquee players just boggles the mind compared to where we have been for decades.

Some of the squad are on 2 year contracts so they have been signed with a view to SL.

You are right, but I think he was referring to the specific list of players, who are all older.

If he's left to pursue other opportunities (ie not RL), you'd assume not. Unless Fev are being very polite, who knows.

Of the two Longstaff could be an option but that says outside of rugby I think.
