Wonder what the RFL will make of it too! SL & Franchising, working towards modern new facilities for clubs to excel and showcase our sport and a current SL chairman trying to derail what all clubs are suppose to be working towards!

Tricky Dicky has scored an own goal, can't see the RFL looking on him & Castleford too favourably. The clock is ticking for Tricky

what effect will this letter have on our chances do we think? i really carnt believe rw would stoop so low. i thought we were in the rugby league family and should look after each other not stab us in back!!! for me we should both get our stadiums as we both need to move forward not one be killed off i am quite worried now i do hope i wrong

Assuming that the planning is awarded, is the funding and everything else that's needed in place to start building work soon or are there any more hurdles?

Why?I would have thought he hasn't told them anything they didn't already know and what he says isn't going to be the difference between it being built and not.

Full planning is needed first but yes once that is granted, if the current PI approves the outline scheme, then the funding is in place for building work to start.

Cas changed their mind and will issue a response in regards to Rw letter tomorrow. Me thinks they'll be up all night shitting bricks, thinking how to get out of this with any credibility. Alternatively will this statement be used in favour of the development of teu state they support us getting a new stadium @ Newmarket to help local community including their people.

Interesting times indeed.

Think they need PR guru now!

RW has not objected, he has simply answered a query. He confirmed that the Tigers were happy to take part in the council funded feasibility study and that Wakey weren't. He added that Wakey could use GH as tenants.

So what's with the MASSIVE over reaction on here to someone confirming things he was asked to confirm?

There is no objection there, he is merely stating things that has been out in public for over a year now. Some of the comments on here are totally OTT and utterly ridiculous...I wonder if this website will be hearing from the clubs legal team for some of the comments made
