Wally's minder? was he in the snowball fight at headingley, I am sure he got sent off somewhere along the line.

Can never remember Chris Perry being anything other than below average. Still have the Wakefield v Australia game on DVD in which he was the stand out poorest player on the pitch. Only other things I can recall of note were that he played for Ackworth before we signed him, he got sent off in a crucial game for tripping someone and he got carried off on a stretcher once when his poor tackling technique got him kneed on the head by Bright Sodje.

Am I right in thinking he let the ball bounce in the in goal area then watched as it bounced back over his head into the arms of a waiting Aussie to score or is my mind playing tricks on me?

dennis beecraft (think he was an aussie from 1997 squad) - my first full year of supporting the mighty trin.

adrain brunker was a great aussie centre !

Remember that game well and Bright Sodje drove the whole crowd berserk by kneeing somebody in the head every time he took the ball in ! not saying it was deliberate he was just clueless at the time and referee gave him the benefit of the doubt, but he caused chaos and several injuries that day,improved with coaching but he should never have been allowed to stay on the field.Crowd where I was stood would have lynched him given half a chance

Didnt think Halliwell was an aussie - but he did a=bat for the other side!!

Dennis Beecroft - drank plenty in his pub.

What about the famous 80's wingers - Greg Lennon (Ran in the olympics for Australia) but we never gave him the ball and the Aussie rules convert Klein? Who was huge!!

Brad Waugh was another tough aussie and Adams? I'll have to dig out my 1981-1985 autograph book.

Russel Klein only Adams i can think of was Butch and he was English, Anyone said Troy Slattery He give is all.
