I'll hold my hand up to Troncs second half thinking that the video ref was looking for one still pic to confirm a try and he found it ,

pleased to see that the replacement for Atkins, Magic Millard is proving to be the buy of the season :D and Obsts try must be the try of the month all ready

Sorry but JD is finished and Obst is a waste of an overseas spot, every time either of these two get the ball -- the move just stops. And they both must have the wrong studs in.

People said it was how we reacted as a team after last week --- i see little change, other than HKR arent as clinical as Huddersfield.

The same Sam Obst that got MOM.

Thought Davey and Gledhill went well. KR played really well in that first half and scored one try by a fluke so we did ok really in that period.

But we were clueless that first half, so hey 25-0 in the second I'll forgive for now !!

No we were not clueless, sorry your wrong. You can't simply play off the back of a 50 point drubbing with supreme confidence, players are human. The speed with which they found there form was a credit to them. Go on just admit you were a bit OTT, you will feel better.

Perhaps a little more faith and a little less panic in future

I've got to say I agree with Vastman on this one!

We did at one or two silly things in the first half and we looked a little gun shy, but overall our performance in that first forty minutes shouldn't have seen us Conceding eighteen points.

When you look at HKR's Tries, the first one caught us cold, the second one came from a penalty that should never have been given. Check out the replay and see if you can see any player offside let alone Daryl Millard. The third one was a complete fluke after a ricochet unlocked our defence.

Although chuffed with the improved second half performance and the two points.

I dont believe my comments regarding the first half was an over reaction.

Our defence on the blind side and sliding defence was disorganised.
On the first try no one picked up that Gleeson was at marker(apart from HKR) and filled in.On their second try Demetriou was caught ball watching and the defence didnt slide.
Our attacking moves, consisted of the high bomb,we were caught in possession on the last tackle when on their line(disorganisation). Our kicking game in the first half was woeful - one attempt at a 40-20.Added to that poor passing and distribution and poor decision making when not taking the two with 30 seconds to go in the half.

I saw little in the first half different from the Huddersfield game.

Indeed even Obst said in his interview that in the first half they played like where they left off against Huddersfield!!!!!!

I stand by comments on JD,a great servant he has been to the club, but offers very little now.

Obst, interesting,a good individual try.A kick through that was extremely poorly defended by Briscoe that resulted in a try wont change my opinion of him.
When we were a man down at the start of the second half,we should have been eating the clock up and ensuring kicks went out of play, instead Obst puts a poor kick in giving HKR the opportunity to come straight back at us.His distribution is poor(2 intercepts against Hudds) and he gets caught in possesion far too much.Quite simply in my opinion moves breakdown far too often when he has the ball.

I said the same about JD and Obst after the Hudds game and nothing i saw tonight alters my thoughts on those two players.

PS Im a fan and season ticket holder of 30 years and dont feel it was an over reaction.
