I seem to remember a time when Trinity did allocate away fans the North wing of East Stand, but somehow that didn’t last long, and away fans were sold tickets with the advice sit anywhere, but not to sit in reserved (named) seats. That advice wasn’t always. followed.

Well I have bitten the bullet no standing for me, I have transferred to the new stand along with my sone and I have just got my grandsons a ticket each.

Had to ask quite a few fans over the years to move from our seats. Even showing the Leigh fans our season tickets they were hard to move on.

I might try it from my seat lol. Quite a few seats been taken already. 18 rows of seats average 150 per row would be 2700 take away the steps etc for 2500 should be excellent and a great view.

Only just remembered to mention...

When at Leeds on Boxing Day, I counted the rows they have in the new North Stand; it's 21 if I recall correctly.

I think ours is 18 rows, so not dissimilar, though without the huge cricket stand with it's extensive hospitality on the back.

Having moved out of the area nearly a year ago, I passed the stadium yesterday for the first time since the demolition and rebuild. Ive got to say what a great site it is! Congratulations to all involved and I hope it will benefit the club and local community as a whole.

Fingers crossed the Cas development will go the same way and we can have many more memorable games in the future. But as you all have no doubt felt in the past, I still have reservations over whether ours will actually go ahead.

Have we solved the problem of how to keep those in the temporary south stand seating dry.
