I know it wasn’t money with Batch, he was disappointed with his minutes on the pitch and his relationship with a certain individual at the club seems to have broken down so much that it was virtually irretrievable. That said, it wouldn’t take too much to have attempted to repair the relationship rather than digging your heels in and letting him walk.

You know this how?

And even if you do, have you heard both sides of the story?

I don't know what happened by the way, but I do know it's never as straightforward as players all wear white hats and coaches/directors wear black.

I haven’t placed any blame or put anyones case over the other, just said that maybe more could have been done to repair the relationship rather than just allowing the situation to end with a parting of ways.

Batch is one of the best young back rowers in the country and he was home grown, I’m disappointed that it ended with him leaving

This world was never meant for one as beautiful as me.

WTRLC 2012 to 2014 "The wasted years"

Magic Weekend "Whipping Boys" 2013, 2014 & 2015

2017 - The year the dream disappeared under Grix's right foot.

2018 - The FinniChezz Bromance

2019 - The return of the Prodigal Son.

2020 - Keeping the faith.

Batch really benefited from the increased opportunities the Reece Lyne injury gave him, but I think he'd already dug his hole by then though.
We spent too long in that certain for relegation slot during May/June/July too.

Equally so maybe Batch could have been more accommodating in his dealings with the new coach bearing in mind the one who he had fallen out with had left or was leaving the club, I don't doubt for one minute that Batch did not tell you what he did and I'm sure your integrity is still in tact, but how many times do rugby players say things that aren't true for whatever reasons, it's easy to blame the other side when they know they won't be giving a reply, whatever the reasons are, he's gone now we just have to suck it up and move on.

That seems strange to suggest, surely if a player had ambition beyond Wakey he would aim Higher than Hull KR ,with all due respect to that club BTW.

Maybe so, but a real statement of intent tonight from them, following their fans forum. Their player budget to increase by £300k, and further ground developments totalling £14m, on the side where the Roger Millward stand is

£14M. Whoaf! Where the heck did those spondoolicks come from?

Are you sure that it wasn't "fourteen minions" repainting the crash barriers?

If not, it seems that they've been tipped the wink as to what an "A" licence involves. Blimey!
