I applaud everyone who answered the call and paid into this scheme. I have done so in the past but decided this time to give it a miss due to having concerns in many areas.
As far as I know Salford have done something similar and got a great response from their supporters. So did Bradford in the past, however that did not turn out too well.

However you never see Saints, Wigan, Leigh, Huddersfield, Hull, Leeds etc etc. having to do this type of thing. I am hoping that if Matt Ellis isn't refused ownership, then as Wakefield supporters we will never be asked to do this again. It will be so nice to have a board that allows us to rub shoulder to shoulder with the more wealthy well run clubs.

I didn't say I had any evidence that we couldn't pay the bills but just wondered why Mr Carter would throw 300 grand in with no return on it. So jm isn't staying and he's SELLING his shares. What do you think tje situation of the club will be if Ellis walks, just curious to know

I wish Matt Ellis would take over tomorrow because I feel our club is slowly going down the pan and needs fresh life and investment urgently.

Didn't know Alf has a yacht.

I wonder if he requires any maritime security assistance

Which director is that then? - just curious, because JM publicly stated a couple of weeks ago that NO-ONE was blocking the deal? You obviously have some evidence that this is in actual fact the case so can't you share it with us ?

I don't tend to deal with sinking ships, only those under attack, or threat of attack.

Sadly, I think the probability of me working within professional sport is unlikely. You could say that ship has probably sailed.

Honestly though, if I knew I could, I would.

However, I dont have that pot of cash that is required right now.

Thats not to say though, that I may have ideas of things that could be done differently though, or tweaked, or even new ideas, that may or may not help the club

I just hope that whatever is holding things up it get sorted soon,because my fear is that as soon its confirmed were down,mr ellis might decide that with no sky money wakefield could become a black hole

Yes correct, if you go on companies house they are named, brilliant effort by them, mostly £ 500 and £ 1000 purchases of member shares.
