They must have read my post lol. 10 minutes after and they’re on it. What a club we are. On the ball!
Connor is leaving so I think they have identified I need for a more higher profile roe to move this forward.
We have a Head of Foundation so a Head of Media makes sense as well.
Then that’s a good move. Upskilling the workforce and re structuring will be key to moving the club forwards.
I would hope that the facilities/events and rental business side run lateral but are focused as a separate entity away from the playing side.
A 3 branch Hierachy is probably needed. I would call it the 3 pillars and all 3 would have key responsibilities fed back central to a director of rugby and CEO.

CEO/director of rugby

1. Performance > head coach > assistant coach>physio/performance analyst > playing group etc.
2. Events/corporate/facilities > facilities manager/ events manager > sales supervisor/facilities administration/events planner > cleaning supervisor > cleaning operatives.
3. Community engagement/media management - head of media/ head of community engagement > relevant delegates.
A lot of work will have to go into targets, responsibilities, structures, processes and KPI’s etc.
This kind of thing excites me to be honest as the club can drastically enhance its operations from this point!
