Re: Bulls : Sat Sep 01, 2012 9:31 pm
I find it rather amusing that after securing Bradford's immediate future and after taking them out of administration, it seems tonight was the night that administration finally caught up with the Bulls.

The reason I say that is because the players looked ridiculously unfit and disorganised. You can only do so much, and after the administrator made all employees except players redundant its finally caught up with them.

Bradford will also struggle to recruit quality players so late on. Should be interesting to see how their squad forms for 2013

Good work fellas, you did us proud
Good stint from Andy Lynch too!!!

Yep they played well, but, I was impressed with the whole team, even O’Meley, who I thought has come over here for a holiday.

My guess is, players such as Jefferies & Elima, even Diskin know their future isn’t at Bradford & judging by a few players efforts, there could be a few more.

I just hope we don’t end up with any of them.

Thats not far off imo, the only problem is the Bulls have used some of next years funding to finish this season, next year they won't have enough to hold that team together.

They didn't have enough this year but it's not stopped them hanging on to them all.

Manu was almost unplayable tonight and Westerman not far behind.
Danny Houghton though stood out for me.
Big rap for the young lad who did back to back 80 minutes having played for the 20s in the curtain raiser, and to gentle for selecting him.
I'm sure the FC fans would have been scratching their heads prior to the game and worse should it have back fired.
I know the Bulls were poor, but credit to Hull that was as complete a performance as I've seen this year.
Playing like that, they'll be a handful for anyone.

It is "Fifita" not "Fafita"

If you don't know the difference between "there", "their" and "they're" I might get annoyed.

Re: Bulls : Sat Sep 01, 2012 9:53 pm
Tonight was a fabulous result for us but let's keep our feet on the ground. We still have a job to do and neither us or the players should take Widnes or Salford likely. It would just be ironic when for the first time this season when we are in the driving seat for the play offs that we would just blow it. We need to keep our confidence on the pitch but show professional respect for the opposition. Nothing is for granted. Let's make this a mathematical certainty so by 10pm Friday night we know where we are :-)

How a team which goes into administration and runs a team which they have to borrow from others (money, paint etc) to keep going because they clearly can't afford them and be in with a shout for play offs is beyond me. Also especially since they have delayed paying any creditors by at least 2 further months during this administrative farce. I wonder if the RFL could block Guilfoyle from any future administrations? At least Glover honoured many of the club's debts. Hopefully Khan will (I don't know if he is or not) but I wonder how many small businesses cashflow has been so badly affected by this delay that they are no longer in business. Further the staff who were laid off and had bills to pay.

I think it is just for a team other than Bradford to make the play offs this year. Obviously I'd be delighted if it was us, but if not then I hope it is Hull KR.

Just goes to show that the performances over the last 8 weeks have been nothing to do with Potter's coaching but more about a bunch of players putting themselves in the shop window. They obviously now think they are all staying at Bradford!

Or they have been told they are not staying
