Funniest part of the evening was when someone asked if we could afford to play at Plan B(arnsley) and the response was yes we could because we don't pay our bills anyway!
Glad things are starting to look like there is a future if we can move Ted out.
Also, am I right in thinking that the new ST will be looking to unite all supporters groups within the club, and to remove all the political stuff that has happened in the past on that side? If so, that is a big plus. If not, that should be part of the remit. We are only going to get things done by all of working together as one.
I notice that 'Wildcats' was hardly used. Seems that 'Wakefield Trinity' is though. Is this indicative of the thought that whilst Wildcats is a good nickname for the kids etc.. the club should always be known as Wakefield Trinity. Trinity is what we are known as throughout the world, that should be what we are.
Well last nights meeting Cleared one thing up, whilst ever the current BOD are in "control" the supporters trust or the fans will not be listened to or given any facts. Has as been stated their were share holders with a 10% holding at the meeting(not including bod) and they were still refused facts.
If Ted is still with holding the fact, then it must be bad, because if their was any positives then surely now would be the time to let people know.
Isn't this absolutely appalling? He begs for money from us, makes us feel guilty if we don't, yet this is how he treats people who are previous donators. This is an absolute scandal, is there any reason this tool is up the khyber and the club too. He is an absolute disgrace to our great club and far from "giving" up his stake in the club so he can just be a supporter, he should be driven out. If he wants to be a supporter, let him stand among us, I'll give him 5 minutes!!!!!

Think it was mentioned there were around 21,000 shares available to the Trust by potential members that they knew about, I'm sure a few like myself with 25 shares can add to that and make it bigger fairly easily. That said, they'll be worth sod all on February 1st.
The Trust have secured (by proxy) 21,000 shares already, it was established that to call a Board meeting you need 10% of the share holding which equates to approx 53,000 (530,000 shares issued in total).

I guess with the timescales in setting up the Trust, that even with the requisite number, an EGM would unable to be called before the end of the month?

Unfortunately so, The next stage is to go through all the legalities and registrations etc.. That will take a number of weeks, but who knows maybe we'll have some developments by then and have a clearer picture of where to go next.
For those who couldn’t make it on Tuesday, the minutes of the meeting can now be found in the Downloads section of the Trust website: http://www.wtsupporterstrust.co.uk
