i havent got involved in these stadium debates for some time has imho there hasnt really been any significent progress.however today i have been told that castlefords big announcment which will be made in the next couple of weeks will be good news or at least for cas fans.
ive been told that after a meeting with waystone on wednesday castleford have now secured funding for a 12k 3 sided under cover stadium with one end left for further development in time, the 3 sides are to be built to the same plan has the recentley built chesterfield football club stadium, these details will be announced before the cas-leeds game.i know there will be a lot of sceptics who will say whatever but im not usually far off the mark and only tend to comment on what i feel to be the truth.

Good luck to you. Now that it has been decided that we are going it alone, we will stand or fall on our prospects. If we don't make enough progress with Newmarket, there are enough other candidates to take our place, regardless what happens with Cas. I wish them well.
