We absolutely need 1 more prop.
We absolutely need a second rower. One injury there and we could be stuffed having to shuffle Pitts back wide and someone would need to change with Cozza…
I would say a last signing would be a utility back who can play full back/centre maybe.

One injury in the centres and we are relying on Pratt, Law. While Pratt looks great I wouldn’t want to see both on the pitch together. Full back is light.

All that said, I am happy for the club to wait for players to be available who will enhance our starting 13/17. We need real quality to come in these positions.

Don't think we absolutely do need another prop imo.

Do absolutely think we need a few more middles/utility forwards.

It will be a war of attrition with the number of games in the Championship. On the plus side there will be a number of games where a lighter/mobile pack will probably be do.

Think the centres are well catered for tbh. Croft, Thornley and Griffin backed up by Pratt and Law is fine. Looking at both Pratt and Law, I wouldn't underestimate them. Pratt already has a fair few games under his belt, and I personally think Law had a fantastic debut, and looked at home in SL let alone the Championship.

This season will be won in the pack, this imho is more the case than in SL. If the pack dominates, then frankly it won't matter who's at the back, they will score tries, (I'm exaggerating but you get the idea).

Cover for FB would be nice.

I judge him on effort but also on the number of TJ or Murphy would do a fantastic try, but when you followed it back, it was usually Pitts as the one who made the half break and Jowitt who got on the end of it to get the ball to the try scorer

Saw that on his highlight reel too but I suspect he’s not played there for years.

I remember at the start of last season when I said we had a low quality squad, you told me I was wrong it it was actually me who was a low quality supporter

That proves my point of him him being past his best because neither of those players have scored a try for us since 2022.

Hardly anyone scored tries last year.

But if that's how you want to judge players, Jowitt, Pratt, Lino, Gale, Bowden, Hood, Ashurst, Griffin, Atoni,
Croft and Franco are also past it.

You'd better tell Powell quick.



But you are right in that a 33 year old is bound to be passed his best. But that's not the same as passed it.

He’s defensively shocking at fullback.

I suspect though Kaye and we will utilise our duel reg relationship before we go down using Walmsley as a 1.
