I cant see any stampede to build houses on BV any more so than the old power station site. Builders can easily push through more attractive sites now.

On the casforum there is talk that the Newcold development is currebtly only half the size that that it will ultimately be, none of which will count towards the trigger point of the stadium. Is this correct? And if so how much of the available land is the damn thing taking up?

This is the perfect place for a stadium in my opinion

Unless I'm mistaken I think there is already a Petrol Station, a Starbucks and a KFC on that plot.

Think we've been here before, We could and should have had a new ground on there before all of them buildings.

All the better!

Obviously I mean there or thereabouts!

Here's why

Aah, if only It were as simple as building a stadium in a location because we like it there!

The machinations involved in all this are incredible, and never cease to amaze. There will be news very soon, but don't ask me what!

Well I never who'd have thunk it, I drove down there this morning to check if a stadium had arrived, just because I'd drawn one on Google Earth.

Maybe, as a mere fan, I shouldn't speculate, muse, wonder or suggest anymore because heaven forbid we might have a bit of talk or hypothetical debate on the board.

So my apologies to TRB and Sandal Cat for dreaming about what might have been.

Sorry, wasn't upset at your comment. I personally liked the park idea, but that wasn't viable.

In my evidence at the PI, which is on record, I listed all the failed attempts and possible sites and, one by one, the reasons why they had not, or could not, be used. Some were due to access, others planning issues and yet more due to finance.

Your suggestion is quite valid in many ways, except that there is no mechanism to gain any funding for it!

Speculate away old boy!
