Is the rain falling on Leeds' open terrace not as wet as the rain on ours?
As an away fan, i have to admit the experience of standing in your away end compared to leeds is alot worse.
Even on the no roof front, to be fair though you do have that small bit of cover on one end which is where i usually stand at your place for that reason, so you may get a slight lead on that one.
The viewing is much worse due to the gradient, some parts of the pitch if it is crowded you can't see at all and are constantly having to move around if you are near people of a similar height.
Toilets and bars are not that far really at headingley for it to be a real issue, the toilet situation at wakefield a few weeks ago was atrocious though. Only 1 small set of toilets for what was a pretty full away end was shocking, can only get about 8 people in the room at a time, had to queue up not to mention they was disgusting! Normally there are toilets open in the building near the flats that are the ones i normally use, much bigger and much nicer but for some reason they were closed this time around. Anybody know why? hopefully that is not permanent.
Just my honest opinions as somebody who has been an away fan in both stadiums many times.
Saying all that leeds are trying their best to even it up!
one way system on the steps which has never been in place before that i can remember? top steps for up to the away end / bottom steps for going down to the toilets and bars. Strictly enforced aswell even if there was nobody in sight on the quite roomy top steps.
Ale in crappy paper cups that went flimsy very quickly, luckily i was driving so didn't effect me but my mates weren't so chuffed and neither were others around us.
Rugby was rubbish aswell, but that's another story entirely
