one of our best tacklers for his size, don't know if there is a time spell that is deem suitable for the lad to get back into it after a spinal or head injury,
this incident happened trying to get over the line and 3-4 bigger sized lads muscled up to keep him back,

got a text telling me after an xray the lad has been allowed to go home but is very sore,

not nice to go through this procedure but you have to be careful and thanks go to the paramedics doctors and nurse that I have a very high admiration for anyway

That sounds ok then ( touchwood !)- heard this afternoon that one of our lads has broken his ankle this morning & all he was doing was making a tackle !
Just hope it doesn't put him off the game & he doesn't pack in because he loves playing - can see pressure from mum though

Must be a jinx on today - the East Leeds lads were dropping like flies against Stanley U12's; at one point, they had three down in different parts of the field.

cas panthers u11s went down 12-6 away at eastmoor in a tight game,both teams defended well and it was a good advert for junior rugby with both sides moving the ball around well.

westgate under 16s 6 Elland 6. defence on top for both teams, good game and my lad picking up the man of the match award

Stanley under 11's beat Dewsbury Celtic 26 -14 give or take a two pointer.
