4000 for a play off game was an embarrassment , 4000 at a playoff game makes it a double embarrassment

shame, wheres the 15000 that signed the petition, and are there really that many Micky Mouses live in Wakefield ?????

i havent got involved in these stadium debates for some time has imho there hasnt really been any significent progress.however today i have been told that castlefords big announcment which will be made in the next couple of weeks will be good news or at least for cas fans.

ive been told that after a meeting with waystone on wednesday castleford have now secured funding for a 12k 3 sided under cover stadium with one end left for further development in time,the 3 sides are to be built to the same plan has the recentley built chesterfield football club stadium,these details will be announced before the cas-leeds game.i know there will be a lot of sceptics who will say whatever but im not usually far off the mark and only tend to comment on what i feel to be the truth.

Sounds good, perhaps Trinity could sell Cas the flats to go at the other end in the interim.

I have heard exactly the same thing from 3 totally seperate sources, but as much as i would like it to be true i dont think i will be holding my breath. My thinking behind this is what can have happened in the last week that couldnt of happened in the last 5 years, I personally think the big anouncment will be about a new main sponsor but i really hope i am wrong and we can make some headway with the ground because i have just about had enough of all the speculation and oneupmanship from both sides, i think its a case of now or never for both teams now and if things are not put to bed in the next month or so i reckon we can both say goodbye to super league.
