I don't know the guy - I was 'profiling' based on details available. I genuinely feel though that they are now making the issue that of the industrial elements merely beacuse they feel that is weakest link. If there were no industrial elements, there would be some other element they didn't like - that's how it goes!

There's another saying "give them enough rope....." to mearly discount peoples views by guessing/profiling makes you look arrogant, or stupid or both.

It gets worse this forum every day, we cant even agree to "pack down" against the only poster brave /daft enough to post something on here against newmarket.

Sure we have ridiculed him and the video ,but a simple cut and paste job of some of the comments on here could be used against the development, remember WAR IS DIRTY!

This guy posting, and people agreeing or disagreeing is exactly the purpose of this forum, as has been pointed out on other threads certain people only seem to want a certain type of thread on here lately.
And anyone who thinks it being discussed one way or another on here is going to be detrimental to the development is wildly dellusional.
He's posted, it's being debated, it's what this is all about, end of!!!
Nobody is agreeing with him and his wish for either the ground or development not to progress, just some of his concerns, giving him the opportunity to air it on here is called democracy, although that doesn't always sit well on here.
Come what may we'll get the ground or not based on the plans and people involved, not this forum!!!!

according to the tenor of the original poster Trinity have been around over a hundred years and therefore would survive ok!!!

that means that frogs, newts and other wild things have been around for thousands of years and will... by the same logic... be fine!!

The issue here is one of a few people being disrupted by this development (that and the fact that there are those who would wish to see our progress slowed). I have sympathy with the former, but none with the latter.

The phrase 'the greater good' took a bit of a pounding in the film Hot Fuzz, but in this case I can see no better way to describe the proposals put forward!

If you are 'preserving the heritage of the site' then you have to go back to the time when it was a PIT and providing employment!! oh lets see now thats what they are planning to do..
