I know it's way past being an option for Trinity but how predictable is it that the council are looking at getting rid of the Thornes House School site and reinvesting the money in Castleford. See Wakefield Express for details.

That's Wakefield College - not Wakefield MDC.

It quite common and helps finance stadium builds lot of examples of apartments/flats built within corners of the stadium or back of stands. Lots of football stadiums have this set up.

Retail park and student accommodation, wonder how they'll fit that on to the Superbowl site and still have some parking for said retail park. I suppose it depends how much accommodation they want and how high they can get planning for it.
