Richard signed Moa and Luaki, two forwards not dissimilar to Mose Masoe in terms of destructive impact.

Richard agar has got quite a good track record of bringing in quality overseas players - Southern wasn`t what we was all expecting last season, were after 2 forwards that have offers on the table from NRL clubs which shows what quality they posses (NRL standard). There isnt many overseas players playing in superleague that were wanted in the NRL (bar a few).

to be fair i'm not even sure if Southern was his signing. He was announced well before Agar joined. Mellars too.

Paul Aiton was an Agar signing and we'll have more of his quality all day long.
Regarding Southern, had he not had some personal issues, he would have been the real deal.
He showed up well in pre season and played well in the early part of the season and seemed to become a scapegoat when results were going against us.
The tackle he made one on one at Widnes is still one of the moments of the season, he had no right to prevent a score, but he manage it.
