Thank you - and precisely why he wouldn't be good enough for us; we need someone with sufficient skill and fortitude to change the culture of the playing side of our club from top to bottom, and who can instill a level of discipline, positivity and will to win that hasn't been evident at WTW for a number of years.
Richard Agar is not that person.
To be fair, whay are you basing this on? The fact he comes accros as a bit boring?
he could be the best motivator going in the game. What is clear is that some big (relatively speaking) names down under must have some faith in him to come and play for him. Not that I am over bothered about imports, but signings such as Heremia, Crocker Omealy and Fitzgibbon wipe the floor with the likes of Motu Tony, Jeremy Smith, Semi and the like.#
If he doest turn out to be the coach I dont think its the end of thr world. Lets be honest, the goal for the next 3 years or so has to be to become a top 8 side - Agar could very well be the man to consolidate us and take us to mid table mediocracy, from where we can potentially kick on towards the top of the league with somebody else at the helm.
Can't see him taking us to Grand Finals and the Challenge Cup, but he could stabalise us and start the building that we need.
