Notable objectors to the plan were obviously the HA who's objections are 90% satisfied with the developer saying that issue will be resolved within 3 weeks.

The other notable was Leeds City Council who objected on the green belt grounds and that the development could be detrimental to their residents and rate payers.

The green belt objection from LCC was the but of a joke due to their massive develoment over the last 15 years much of which has been done on green belt land.

I think this is probably a good time to make my debut. Brilliant news. As a season ticket hoder from the North East I've been just as worried as most of you have. Today is a great day. Always look on message board for the latest news. Keep up the good work.

I can't see the goverment objecting to this project, after all they are trying to find jobs in the private sector after getting rid of hundreds of thousands of public sector posts. They'll probably use this as an example of success of their policies. Either way it's a great day for Trinity.

Do you know what i love about all this ??? Its the comments from OTHER clubs fans who really have nothing better to do other than get bitter and twisted about WAKEFIELD TRINITY WILDCATS FANTASIC NEWS. Nothing worse than a bit of salt in an open wound is there Cas ! Anyway Congrats to all us wakey fans, the club, the players and staff and most of all to everyone involved with SWAG As the song goes " we get knocked down , but we get up again you aint ever gunna keep us down" We are wakefield laud and proud !!!!!!
