Hopefully you'll be able to put this behind you now and move forward with a new ground and remain a SL team.
I wish you well with this mess but it does seem that the rumours of you touting players to other clubs to pay debts rings true.
I am starting to get a bit hacked off with all this. 1. How do we get to a point where we are over 1/3 of a million in debt with HMCR, who is responsible? How does diane think she can justify what is happening with a "no more comment" this is our club and we should demand "more comment" and seek to find responsibility amongst those who seek to shoulder none. 2. Where has the £158K cone from to reduce our liability, do we now owe it to someone else, is it the clubs money if so why wasn't it used in the first place or more worryingly where would it have gone if none of this had come to light? 3. Where is the remainder to be sought? Is it going to be another debt, is it coming from proposed player sales? I am finding myself with little trust in the people that run the club, they seek to hide, no comment is not good enough!! Recently a lot of people have given a lot of effort to help achieve something amazing for the clubs future, and now this!!!!
If you are not capable of running the club, wish to step aside, or just own up to what ever is going on, feel free, but to me, this is just not good enough!!! YOU ARE ONLY CUSTODIANS OF OUR CLUB!!
Do you have any shares? If so I’m guessing that you would get to see the accounts at the AGM which should answer a lot of the question you have.
With regards to stepping aside, well, there appears to be no one in the wings. Mr France recently ceased his involvement in the racing team he had so I’m guessing the interest he was apparently showing a while back may also have been withdrawn. Richardson has put his hands in his pockets before and acted as a guarantor the last time the club were really in the mire so maybe he has this time.

cracking post, thing is nothing ever seems to change at our club, thats why a lot of fans wont come back cause its run like a pile of poo and has been for years.
Genuine question has the Atkins money gone towards getting the club out of this initial trouble?
Also if it has does this now open the door for clubs to take a closer look at Brough?
Not trolling just wondered peoples thoughts.
Given they have agreed a monthly pay off I would think this means Brough is safe, but if he continues to sign an extension then I guess it would make commercial sense to cash in rather than lose him for nothing at the end of this year.

Timings could be a coincidence, but would Wire have forked out the full amount straight away. I know clubs often pay large sums of money in instalments. Perhaps this is more common in football where the expenditure dwarfs anything RL could muster.
There are lots of questions that need answering, but they only certainty with Wakefield is, that they will keep us in the dark.
We employ a new media manager to handle situations like this, but none the less we have Diane making comments.
The current administration has got the club into the crap on more than one occassion,i fear the next time that incompetent bunch get us in a mess will be the last time.
It is quite frankly no surprise that supporters of other clubs dont think we should be in super league.

not me, you are here on merit on what goes on on the pitch, whether the RFL puts any store by that is another matter
