Crigg under 11's lost tonight against Lock Lane away . No excuses, beaten by a far hungrier team . Think some of our lads just seem to win a big game and then think that's that , we're the greatest - not like that though this game & with the quality of the teams in this division there's never going to be an easy game .They looked far more up for it from the off but we came back well and it was level at HT , the second half was v.poor from us defensively and after Lock Lane had a good lead they defended really well as Crigg came back into it so well done fellas
Anyway ,that's that for this year for us thank god - a summer of golf ahead !
Whoever wins anything next year will fully deserve it , the standard of rugby this year has been fantastic .
Ooops - forgot the score , 24-12 to Lock Lane .
( was going to give Mutts a clip round the ear tonight as well for stirring it again ,but he's not so well so it'll have to keep ! - get well soon  )

Yes , that's ok mutts - but you're in the lucky position of being able to just turn up , watch you're son play & go home . Others however have to run the team , clean kit , raise funds , Organise kitchen rota's ,someone to openthe club , arrange games +ref, stand at the side of the pitch in an oversized orange bib and could do without the animosity created before & after a game with stuff like you wrote the other day after a fantastic game , have their wife coming home in tears again & again because the dictators of the club seem to think that she wants to throw a spanner into the works of the workings of the club when in reallity she's wanting the best for the kids .
Sorry that's turned into a little rant , but I'm completely wazzed off with the whole thing at the moment ( & I've had a half) . Wish young sponge would pack in & play something else at the mo sorry to say .
As an aside ,does anyone know what the situation would be if an entire team wanted to move somewhere else to form another team ? Is it allowed ??
Sorry again for the rant .

you need to dish more out mate, i know about the crap wrote the other day i guess these so much water under that bridge it just about douses out the flames that are burning . we used to get along a lot better you know. yes a full team can effectively fold if we all agree but i think this is something more for of the board than on it as last time i went to stanley with holly n milo 2 under 9s 3 under 11s and a under 12 didnt go down to well  . im gonna clean up this thread.

Right so here goes after a silly week on RW&B , with plenty of steam blown i have tidied up this thread . I do so in main as its for the majority and not minority of us who have differences to sort out between ourselves.

some will never on , some wakey fans will never get on . for those without kids or the joy of seeing sunday morning RL if you think FC KR can get a little feisty then unfortunately im afraid you may be in for a shock.

this thread will be locked round a bout monday after noon with a gala thread opened until the fixtures for open aged come out lets learn for the past week , i hold my hand up and accept my proportion of blame and apologise to Mr sponge Mrs sponge and spongy.

enjoy it.

What a great advert for junior RL this thread has become.

If you're considering taking your kids to play at your local junior team folks - here's a small taste of what to expect; good times!

Well said Spongebob I heard that Stanley were glad to see the back of him.

Went to watch Stanley play eastmoor u11's this morning, what a farce.

Eastmoor insisted on playing eleven against stanley's 10 players so were bound to come out losers with the unsportsman like tactics whatever the scoreline, and despite the extra man only won by a try.

Even with the extra man advantage they were initially refusing to cone in the pitch although they were playing on the full size first team pitch

Shame that some junior rugby teams have to resort to win at all costs tactics as both sets of players came out losers, however stanley can hold their heads up and consider themselves winners losing by such a narrow margin playing 10 v 11 with moor having subs as well.

bent nose hilarious ..about as funny as leather SUCH DOUBLE STANDARDS!!!!!!AGAIN  you will be amazed what we can do with a little picking and after what we gave you on a plate at the wkend / we might have another but i will make sure you wont get that pie anymore. funny think is i still have soooooooooooo many texts
