3 days & counting! is there an actual time etc. when they're going to announce it? i will crack a beer or two if your successfull. i know i'm jumping the gun a little but how long have they estimated the build to take, how far from the motorway is the new ground, are there pubs nearby the site? all important issues for us away fans???
The announcement is on or before Tuesday (4 days ). could be today or Tuesday (apparently the boss doesn't work Mondays), no idea what time. AFAIK we're planning to occupy the stadium by 2015 season at the latest, some say earlier, we will no doubt get more info after the announcement. The stadium site is right on junction 30, head south off the junction, 200 yards on your left. The closest pub to the site has recently shut down, not sure what's still open in Bottomboat, which is very close. There are plenty in Stanley (+/- 1 mile), used to be 13, but now down to about 8.

Completed by the end of 2014 season 500m from M62 A few within walking distance but there maybe a hostelry built on/close to new development
This countdown started on Friday 13th April - 3 months ago, and despite there being a set-back (always nailed on in this process), but here we are at D-4 and counting. I feel a little numb at this stage, as I would be before a crucial big game.
#newmarketnewopportunity - it may be a corny tagline, but it means a lot to me!

I take it , that with the weekend now upon us, we're gonna have to wait until next week. The suspense has been a great cure for constipation Dont you know anything TRB, not even a hint ?

Nope - nothing, nada, zilch!
No reason to think anything bad will happen though!
I picked up the back end of a story on the radio about the development yesterday, which indicated it was nailed on and just needed the announcement making which would be in the "next couple of days".
It did mention approval had been passed by so and so department and had several people on commenting that this confirmation would be great for the local community etc, I assumed, obviously wrongly that is was all done and dusted and that was the report on the official announcement. Obviously not.

That was the report about the LDF being approved - not the planning application itself!

I'm sure this is the case, somebody somewhere knows this is either a done or not done deal, i don't imagine that people are still locked away studiously burning the midnight oil up until tuesday finalising everything, because someone has calculated the amount of hours over god knows how long to the millisecond and it equals 3:45pm on tuesday the 19th. This deal is either done or not, and has been for a while i imagine and is sat on an office somewhere in whitehall/planning inspectors office gathering dust until the time is "officially" right, and thats just how things are done.
