Penny Appeal was formed and run by an entrepreneurial former college student, who the college are very proud of.

I have no background knowledge of the Penny Appeal nor Thornes Park College. I would comment that once the digging starts you have no idea, how deep or wide it goes nor who gets dragged into, many fine and upstanding individuals have been well regarded in the business world but shown, not to be that fine nor upstanding. We all know Wakefield's 'not so good and not so great' fine chaps at the outset but oh dear......

Having known someone who worked at PA, they had questionable ethics towards their staff. Not a place I would want anyone I knew working there.
