There have been quite a few wakey fans on our forum the last few years that have spent more time discussing the cas stadium than the wakey one (there are a couple who even manage to have a sly dig at cas everytime they mention newmarket/thornes park too).

And you can add to that that at the moment, there are more threads concerning Castleford's ground than there is Newmarket. Seems to me that if anyone is worried it is your own fans, Vasty.

The biggest development this week is cas getting the land singed over to them, some will say this is old news, well it has always been seen as the site for the stadium but until officially signed over, it will not have been seen as an asset. Now that it is an asset it should trigger the funding phase, so what might have seemed small news may be a massive development.

Went past junction 30 on the M62 last night and noticed that the extra lane on both sides of the carriageway to take the extra traffic for when the new stadium is built is near to completion.
