You're correct mate I've learnt over the years that this game is cyclical and whilst its tempting to be smug when you are doing well it will come back to bite your bum when your fortunes change for the worst. Maybe I ought to start a different thread on the subject but do Trin fans feel they are getting more sympathy from opposing fans nowadays because of what they have gone through over the last 2 or 3 seasons. In the circles I move in (does that sound naff) Its more of an arm round the shoulder for the trin fan than p!$$ take and for me its to do with the honourable way that MC has chosen to go.

Sorry, all I can say is that the trustees considered it a very productive meeting, both options remain very much on the table and that work continues, from all parties, to develop a fit for purpose stadium suitable for 21st century Rugby League in Wakefield.

IA has just told you what he is permitted to. Joining a Trust committee like this comes with huge responsibility and that includes keeping schtum during these delicate procedures.

There was nothing new yesterday, just updates on what we are already aware of. We do march on towards a point in the not too distant future where we will either be presenting the results of all these meetings or asking for a call to arms because we have not got to where we are satisfied with the deal - at that point, and probably not before - will we be able to discuss in more detail what is being discussed.

Sorry, but that's where we are.

As I have said before - I do not give dates / timescales because they just inevitably set you up for ridicule when they fail and when it is something not in your own full control, there is nothing you can do.

There will be no news this side of Xmas!

Yes - it means the fight continues and that we still believe there is something worth fighting for at the end of all this!
