I've just got back from Bridgend where up to 6pm we were out in a pub car park enjoying a pint and a bit of banter, when the terrible news was broken.
Everyone was absolutely stunned. That a young man should lose his life is heart wrenching.
We were due to stay in Cardiff tonight and go out on the ale, but just couldn't after that news. Went back to the hotel where we had only checked in at 2-30 and checked back out again and came home.
Have realised tonight that in the grand scheme of things, Rugby League doesn't matter.
God Bless, Leon

Absolutely, show's how much we all tend to worry about the little things in life and then a trdagedy like this unfolds as quick as a lighting bolt to forever change this family's life.
My deepest condolences to Leons family at this time of unbearable greif for them.
Our deepest sympathies to all
The Demetriou family.
