Obviously, time is against us and MC and fans will take what we can get to continue our journey but the whole Newmarket project story is scandalous imo.

You could well be right who knows which brings me to my point, there's that much speculation and that many conspiracy theories going about and tbf most of them are credible that it's difficult to decide what to believe, there's one thing for sure manni and Box will know, whether anybody else comes close is everybody's guess.

Anyway my main point was in answer to jizz's claim that it would be better for everybody if we moved to Newmarket, well the short answer to that is no it wouldn't.

Not sure what you mean by 'everybody'. Would it be better for little old Margret who walks to Belle Vue from down the road? Probably not. Would it be better for the club in the long run, improve the match day experience and expand the fan base? We'll probably never know! We'll just have to agree to disagree

Yes, Jinger, it was.

I'm sure though, I do recall, that towards the latter part of last year, these plans, were scrapped.

I think, without digging up the past, this area would have been ideal.

I can't quite remember how the plans were laid out, but living in Thornes nowadays, I can't help wondering, what if, how could it all look now. I even look at the athletics track, and just think could all that have been developed round there. Can't quite remember, how the plans looked and exactly where the stadium would have been etc. Would be interesting seeing how the plans for it was designed.

I know we all have an emotional connection to Belle Vue, but the site is very limited as we know, especially with the other plans Manni has for the site....not to mention that the area is a dump. Next to the M62 provides great accessibility for everyone and potential for expansion - each to their own though. As long as we get something, I will be happy.

That's what I mean, not everybody wants to go NM myself and a lot more included is that so difficult to understand.

Totally understand. We can nit pick all we like - the main question is what's best for the club in the long run. The argument is redundant as we'll never end up at Newmarket anyway (by the looks). Probably best off just leaving this one and respect the fact people have contrasting views, understandably so.
