Great work by the club and it's good to see Jowitt getting some reward for his efforts.
Fully deserved

good resigning. regarding past good fullbacks, nobody ever seems to remember Column halpenny - excellent in my opinion and his loping style of running belied his actual speed. solid good fullback

Still remember that ball strip against Wigan that meant we won the game. Good memories of Colum.

Agree and one of the nicest blokes you'd wish to meet.

I recall him being 'binned' for putting the ball over the fence at the flats end, in order to give the lads a breather when we had to drop out from under the sticks. :)

Well I’m going to have a go.

Walker was imo one of the mistakes MC referred to and imo will be gone at the end of the season.

Hampshire will probably remain as a utility player.

There is absolutely no evidence except to those who are looking for conspiracies in everything CC does that Max is not his first choice.

He wears the number one, he’s just got a two year deal and Hampshire is available but Jowitt gets the spot,

What more proof do you need, a promise written in blood?

He at this moment the first choice FB for two years it’s obvious to me. It’s Max to lose though injury or loss of form as it is for all players.

Just my opinion and probably Chesters.

Credit to Wakefield who must be doing something right when both Max and Matty Ashurst both say they're delighted to be stopping at the club. I remember Reece Lyne once saying that having played at one of the so called bigger clubs in Super League he never enjoyed going to work on a morning like he does at Wakefield.

Improve his defence which at times can be poor and his decision making when he joins the line of attack including the timing of his passes.for me the attack often stops when the ball goes to him and he simply takes the tackle...i do hope he proves me wrong though
