The wage bill will be massively reduced next year even if we retain SL status. We currently have 17 or so players coming off contract. I'd be surprised if we retain people like Elima for instance. The only players of any value are probably the young players like Bateman and Whitehead that we have spent a lot of time, money and effort in bringing through to 1st team. Anyone investing in the club with any sense will be looking to re-build the club around those players. If we don't get a firm offer pretty soon I expect there will be little choice but to flog the likes of Bateman and some supporters will get what they've been hoping for.

should have donre that 6 months ago feel sorry for the supporters but this is now a total farce

i think people from other clubs forget one thing.when we beat featherstone to get a chance to get into super league we had along wait before we were accepted,it was only the generosity of the first division clubs to fund us.we got nothing from super league at all now we have a club who the rl are bending over backwards for so much for equell rights

Was just on the RFL website, wanting to tell them what i think....... Found this next to: Careers with the RFL, Nice.

In 2008, we developed with our employees, the RFL’s core values. Since then, we’ve been working together to deliver our shared values and principles. These can be summarised under four key headings:

Fair - We’re open, honest and inclusive; demonstrating integrity to all.

Care - We care for our stakeholders, the environment and the sport.

Share - We share through teamwork, open communication, and spreading best practice.

Dare - We dare to achieve our objectives through innovation.

A bid expected tomorrow from ABC dependent on SL guarantee and buying odsal lease.
This is an interesting corner for the RFL to work themselves out of.

That is a load of cack. AG was not promised SL when he took over WTW so why should the new BB get a guarantee. Talk about one rule for one and another rule for others. Never mind, no Peters pie at half time but they do a great curry.

How can BenJeffries compare wakefield and Bulls. He jumped ship as soon as he could find another club to have him!!!

Wakefield got no superleague guarentees when andrew glover took us over, looks like the only way bradford are going to be taken over is if they get the lease back for the ground and a superleague guaretee.

How can the RFL agree to this and still be a fair body?? They may as well tell all championship clubs not to bother applying for superleague as the RFL will just do what they want.

Put it to a vote with the other superleague chairmen, see what they want.

I'd like to see the same points deductions that ourselves and crusaders got for our administration last season.

But the RFL could follow scottish football's lead due to the size of the debts and put them in the lowest league.

When this ABC consortium put their offer to the RFL I wonder if their business plan will be passed on to the auditors for full checking as per the last round of pre franchise checks?
How many weeks did it take for the applications to be fully vetted last time? Obviously not long enough with Bradford going belly up so quickly.
