There have been many comments about it being a dull match but I thoroughly enjoyed it, even prior to the last second drama. Although Trinity should have had the game wrapped up the close score made the game much more entertaining knowingthe next score would win. The noise levels at the end were deafening and I’m sure the rest of Wakefield must have heard the roar as first Grix dived over before Brough landed the conversion. Shame for the rest of the match all was fairly quiet.
The crash ball is something Trinity need to work on. With the benefit of numerous penalties towards the end they wasted 16 or so tackles just trying to burst through a well organised defence. As things became desperate they gave it some air and it paid off.
Other then that I thought they played OK and more importantly it was a much needed win given the schedule over the next few weeks.
