The fact that he's talking about Powell before taking over implies he may be doing the same with players.
There's every chance he'll announce players straight away, he just can't do it now.
But that's just me wondering. I don't know anything more than the original announcement and JMs comments.

With the news about Newcastle, isn't Connor Bailey still up there?
I thought he was well regarded. Would you bring him back?

I may be wrong but dont think he was automatic starter for newcastle every week so on that id say no.one person believed to be coming to club is the cas physio crowther, may not be of much intrest to some.

One who could be of more interest to us is the winger Gideon Boafo, 24/25 years old, came through the youth ranks at London before switching to Newcastle, scored 11tries in 18 games this season.
He is very raw with plenty of flaws in his game, but is extremely quick and may just be the sort of player that Darryl Powell has the knack of improving massively. Risky though

Jordan Schofield signed for Keighley. Thought after his debut he’d be nailed on for a place in next years squad.
