I’m old enough to remember the old littlewoods football pools. You’ll remember when football was played on Saturday. The idea was to pick which games would end in a draw, I think you needed eight correct draws to win cash. Well, one season due to several weeks of bad weather,I think, rather than cancelling the pools, they came up with the idea of having an expert panel to pick which games were likely to end in a draw.
Our forum prediction league could be run the same for the next few weeks rather than cancelling. It could be a lot of fun as there’s plenty of experience on here. What do you reckon folks.
It may take until the summer to agree on an expert panel on here

To keep the excitement going, here's the draw for the 6th round of the challenge cup:
Round 6 Draw
1. Big lads mate v wakefield1990
2. TrinityIHC v dboy
3. Mick Amos 9 WTW v KevW60349
4. adelaide-giant.no9 v coco the fullback
5. little wayne69 v Mable_Syrup
6. wtid71 v Little Leons Dad
7. snowie v cheshirecat57
8. acko v BarnsleyGullwho knows when/if the fixtures will be played.
Round 6 Fixtures
Wigan V Warrington
York V Castleford
Widnes V Catalans
Wakefield V Featherstone
Newcastle V Toronto
Leeds V Hull KR
Salford V St Helens
Sheffield V Hull FC
I would suggest that these fixtures could be played behind closed doors if necessary over the next 2 or 3 months, whenever possible. Maybe as double-headers to cut costs.
Ideally, attended games would start again by the time of the semis or at least the final in July.
People will be desperate for live sport by then.
