You don't actually have to sit through the rest of the season, and Dunkirk please don't fall in to the trap of suggesting that anyone who disagree s with the present owners should put their own money in. Its the supporters job to support the club and disagree when they want to Its the owners job /responsibility to provide a club that can complete, the owners have fallen well short in their duty ans don't seem to offer any part in the plight the clubs finds itself in. I think Carter's had an easy ride over the past 4 plus years, I await the blow smokers response.
[quote="MOPSEY LIVES ON"]is the club Carter leaves behind in better shape than when he came in. We've a new stand not paid for by him but a massive amount of debt over 4 million quid, I suppose it depends on one's point of view.[/quote
as Marc Bolan wrote…’ life’s an elevator… it goes up and down’
Carter introduced systems , processes and a culture that stabilised a business that had rapidly fallen out of control…ultimately, the debt associated with buying the ground was based on sound economics.. and sustainable. The ground redevelopments were out-with that.
However, even the simplest MBA principles speak to the conflict between administrators and entrepreneurs… so is Carter to blame because he is an administrator and not an entrepreneur?? Is Minnards to blame because he only has the skills which created an outcome of ground redevelopment that most fans had dismissed as fantasy???… when pushed to lead I believe they have done the best they could… with the skills they have.. this is not soccer where club owners are queuing at the door waiting for an opportunity.
so yes… I suppose it depends on one’s point of view!
It seems the decisions to appoint Applegarth and Ford were poor ones… possibly made by people who were ill-equipped to make them… we are all one decision from failure (or success… depending on your luck)
Never mind Carter n Minards that was an embarrassing performance by the whole team , they are professional players yet were outgunned /outplayed and out performed, by a team who looked on a different level , and I didn’t see a Carter or Minards missing tackles as far as I could see ,or failing to score yet again, that is down to the players and as such should hold their heads in shame This is a weak squad but they are payed professionals as as such must shoulder the blame as well for this dire performance.
For God's sake! Who on earth do you think put together this mickey poor squad and coaching team? Carter and Minnards bear FULL responsibility for this complete and utter poop show

I’d love you to explain how you would of done anything differently
Does buying merchandise and tickets not count as putting money into the club?
Big difference between spending a few hundred quid on tickets and merchandise, and putting over a £million into the club, I’m not looking for an argument, I’m as vexed off as anyone, but rubbishing the club week after week isn’t going to help the club, and no, I don’t have any answers to save our club from what now seems inevitable.
Ok, we were the only Super League team to make a profit last season, but how have we benefited from this proud boast? Come on now even Unilever, Shell. Amazon et al borrow money in order to improve their business. A loan prior to the start of the season could have made a big difference to what we are having to endure now.

Fair and Valid point Red, but let's not forget such organisations have competent operators. You could give our CEO and director of rugby double our cap and do you honestly think he would be able to recognise the difference between a good or a bad player, bloke is clueless about rugby and that the real issue.
I think you need to look in the mirror and answer that yourself before the situation gets any worse
I’m asking you….. wHAT WOULD YOU HAVE DONE DIFFERENTLY?
I m gutted with today’s result.. as many others will be…. Todays performance wasn’t acceptable.. but with the resources we have and the recruitment being poor… how do you blame carter for our predicament?
