I was torn between Tanginoa and Battye. I like Battye but he’s prone to the odd error in an attacking position (or maybe I just notice it more from him).

I think it will be a fast pitch tomorrow which is why I’ve gone for Bowes too as he’s better feet around the play ball which could be useful on a firm pitch.

Some really tough choices and I think a case could be made for any player missing out.

I really wanted to find a place for Walker as I think he deserves to stay in the 17 but can only see him at 13.

Thought there were a couple of occasions where it looked like Corey Hall needs a few games back in reserves to cement the learning of this seasons start in the first team.

I would be tempted to put Croft in this week… that’s no criticism of Corey but he’s only 19 and needs care in his early career.

I thought Hall in the first half looked very shakey against Toulouse. That said his second half was better.

Croft is looking raring to go but I think Hall recovered enough in that second half to keep the shirt this week. Just. Great competition for places though as Croft does look in real good shape having come back from injury.

As I said, cant see Bowes and Walker plus Hood in the 17.
It will be harsh on whichever player doesn't make the cut but, it's good that Poaching has plenty of options.

That’s a heavy bench on a fast and firm pitch. Going with 1 hooker and not having Bowes or Walker on bench could really bite.

Looks like it but we look most dangerous on the edges. So long as we don’t plan on playing 5 drives on a kick as that
Would be frustrating.

Generally wakey wire games are good affairs though.
