I know lui dobbo sau vidot carney kopczak bmm jones are terrible players
Hey, lets list Leeds treble winners and argue that they are currently a good team. For all the cash and big spend (legal or otherwise) Salford are still in the same bracket as Wakey, Widnes and KR. They are a team who are generally lesser than the sum of their parts.
Watched the highlights as at work last night and the tackles it shows Salford deserved that win if we are honest, yes we have fallen off the horse we just need to get back on it straight away as we did after the Hull defeat. Is Kirmo playing the oval ball game with the kids on the local green that's twice in a short space of time he has spent 10 in the bin for a trip. As other have pointed out did that comeback against Catalan take some gas out of the tank... Would have been great if we could have got the win and put pressure on Saints but we are still in 6 spot and having a cracking season after what we as fans had to endure last season
Cracking season or not, the only focus has to be on avoiding the middle 8's, because there are some damn good sides in there. Let's face it, when all the points are scrubbed, if the teams remained as they are, it's likely that the team that isn't Leeds, Hudds and Salford is in the million pound game. As bad as Leeds are this year, it's a clean slate and almost a cup competition.
I said all this in my Chester's challenge thread and was roundly shouted down - no good being radical now the horse has bolted.
I know it's not easy dropping players from a winning team but I thought we were obviously fatigued by the end of the Catalan game. I'm not saying this in hindsight seeing as I predictaed it but for me Thursday was an excuse to be radical and Chester wasn't and for me should have been.
He's done beyond brilliant since he arrived so not a criticism but sometimes you need to think outside the box as they say. Plenty of chances to pull it round but as I said on the Phil Clark thread, he had a fair point and though I hope it's better than one more game it's time to batton down the hatches and support the lads through what may be a difficult month or two.

You've replied to a topic re. Discipline, yet didn't you shout someone down for pointing out we are the most penalised team in SL? If it was that obvious we were fatigued after the Catalan game then why didn't Chester see this? Surely you are criticising him but just not literally? Maybe we lost because we just didn't play very well, which in all honesty we haven't been doing for a few games now, the last few wins were all about sheer guts, determination and a bloody mindedness which we haven't seen for years. We are not playing any more games than anyone else, players were rested for the Tolouse game let's not forget, most of them forwards, England had a week off with his ban, so I don't think it's fatigue, we're just not playing great in many departments, and a few individuals are coming up with shortcuts and laziness, poor decision making etc. I don't think we've actually played well since the excellent demolition of Wigan.
Didn't observe any laziness against Catalans.Mistakes-yes ie Simon's strip.I think for us it was like a cup final and the players suffered the after effects.Hopefully Thursday win or lose we will see a good performance.Interesting that after one loss the criticism from the 'experts' is creeping in . Lose another couple and it will probably be Chester out.
I know Scott Moore has his own discipline issues and wrongly banned for the non-offence in the Widnes game; but we miss this guy big time. Someone that scoots from dummy half and attacks the line before releasing is the catalyst of a good performance. I know Sio hasn't done a bad job but is very one dimensional, and Howarth rarely attacks the line. If we can grab maybe one more win before Moore returns then I think we have done a very good job. The performances will always pick up when we have a good quality on form hooker involved.

I couldn't agree more about Moore He made such a difference to the team when he came back after injury, like you say he has more about him than the other two, but Sio has done pretty well to be fair to him. But of course we have won without him obviously, so no reason why we can't do so again, we just need to sharpen up in a few areas.

Have not shouted anyone down, I agree with most of what's posted on this thread but it's just a bit late to do anything about it for the Salford game or do you have a time machine - you still don't seem to like anyone having a different view from yourself - I'm like that but at least I know it.
He did see we were fatigued, he said it in as many words in his after match interview at the Magic weekend.
